Bioengineered breast milk

Breast is definitely best, but don't let your milk production stress you out. Each women's output is different.

  1. I am happy about all science, which is trying to improve the nutrition of our children. But please keep it as natural as possible! In the beginning it was said, that there are a lot of kids, who developed diabetes or obesity. Are there studies if this happens, if the children got sugar-free formulas, too? I think here are differentiated data needed. I payed heed, that there was no sugar added in my babies formula (I used Holle, you can check out here: https://myorganicformula.com/holle-organic-formula) and he is a very healthy young adult now. A few friends of mine did this too and it is the same to their kids!

  2. Hi Mel!

I don't know of any studies that also tested whether the ingredients in the formula also impacted anything. We used Earth's Best when we had to supplement formula (my wife's milk supply was not enough for several months). I think it would be safe to assume that if there was added sugar it could definitely impact the baby though! So, just like you said, it's important to read the labels! Every little drop of breast milk is good for the baby, but if you have to supplement or feed them formula they still grow up healthy and happy.

    Thanks for your comment!
